For 26 years I lived North of the 60th Parallel, from the Arctic Islands and as far south as Yellowknife NWT. During those years, I had many different careers and did many different things including and not limited to, in no particular order; Fishing guide, commercial fisherman, cab driver, truck driver, ice road driver - constructor & scout, printer, Corrections officer, aircraft engineer, Fireman, Fire Inspector, and Co-op Developement Officer. I started my life in the North as a lowly Hudson's Bay Company clerk and ended it as a Safety Super for Robinson's Trucking of Yellowknife. I'm now retired and live in southern Canada.
